‘Russian’ to Ireland – Tourism Ireland Targets Russia on Travel Trade Mission
Tourism Ireland, organisation promoting Ireland overseas as a holiday destination, is on the mission to Russia to promote business.
23 Jan 2012. Tourism Ireland and a number of Irish tourism representatives are in Russia this week for a travel trade mission in Moscow and St Petersburg, targeting the Russian holiday and business tourism market.
The trade mission, which kicks off today, involves meetings with travel agents and tour operators from the main regions of Russia, as well as other Russian-speaking CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries like Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan; the Tourism Ireland delegation will be encouraging those influential tour operators and travel agents to include the island of Ireland in future holiday programmes. 2012 Dublin Festival Of Russian Culture – Sponsorship Opportunties
Sponsorship opportunities opened for 2012 Dublin Festival of Russian Culture, organised by the Dublin City Council in association with the Moscow City Government, and taking place from February 20 to 27.
The week-long festival is made up of multiple free events and is designed to appeal to people all ages, and to increase knowledge of Russian culture within Ireland.
